Q:What do I do if I think I am pregnant?
A:

This can be a very emotional time in your life, especially if your pregnancy was unplanned.   Feelings of fear or confusion are common when deciding what to do next.  There is a lot to think about as you try to make the right decision.  Before you can do this, you need to gather information about each of your options. Getting accurate information helps clear the confusion and can help you feel confident about your final decision.  We can help in this process by providing the information and support you will need as you plan your next steps. Click to learn about our free pregnancy tests.

Q:Is it too early or too late to have an abortion?
A:

Laws on abortion vary state to state and they can sometimes be confusing.  An ultrasound is required before most procedures and sometimes parental consent depending on your age. We can give you information on all legal options.

Q:If I’m pregnant, what should I do next?
A:

If this was a planned pregnancy and/or you are choosing to continue the pregnancy, you should schedule an appointment with an obstetrician as soon as possible.  Seeing an obstetrician early in your pregnancy will assure that you and your baby will be as healthy as possible.  PRC of Lee County can also provide support and education classes for you during your pregnancy.

If you are unsure if you want to continue with your pregnancy, we encourage you to call our office as soon as possible to schedule an appointment.
